Fame and Fortune

saw Graham Coxon at a small secret (corporate, not sure he was that happy about that, pah) show last nite. It wasn't hard to make my way down to the front as i reckon i was the one of two other people in the room that a) blagged they way in who didn't work in the "stereo systems industry", and (b) actually knew him in his own right rather than that bloke thats not damon from blur. If you were there also i like to point out i wasn't the office guy wiggling like i hadn't heard bass and rhythm together before. However i was a bit of a fanboy at front smiling at him endlessly, only cemented this feeling as on the way out bumped into Bobby Gillespie and decided to shake his hand, something i don't usually bother with. Anyway – it was alright had good time and heard some of his new stuff which is bit more "wall of sound" (hate the expression when i was in a band, but there were three guitars so dunno how else to explain it). Other cool thing was the bassists amazing 'where the wild things are' tattoos. Can you get a tattoo of something someone else has? probably.
